Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!!

This post is going to be a little short, but I just wanted to wish everybody a Happy Thanksgiving and a Happy Black Friday too. (That's for the busy shoppers who love this tradition also.)

With me, I work on Black Friday at 5:00 am so I'll be pretty busy tomorrow and If you work in retail, you probably know what that is like. But I get out at 2:00 pm so I can enjoy the rest of the day.

My Husband Broke His Thumb

My day went pretty good today except my husband was complaining about his thumb tingling. So today, he went to the emergency room and found out that he broken it. For now, it's in a cast until he sees the orthopedic doctor sometime this week. Looks like he will need help with cooking the turkey.

My work day was pretty much uneventful. We were expecting a tour bus around 3:00 pm, but didn't show and I was done at 4:00 anyways. It probably showed up after I left.

Finally, it's my Day Off!!!!

After this weekend, I'm glad to have a day off today. Of course, I have Thanksgiving off too because our store is closed.

It makes me pretty upset that some stores will be open on Thankgiving. I think these employees need to spend time with their families rather than work . If they feel like working on Thanksgiving, that is a different story. I also understand that some stores need to be open like grocery stores, but some places just care about making a profit, rather than celebrating. That is just my opinion about the whole thing about working on Thanksgiving.

Aside from that, I had a pretty good day today, but I have to be in at 7am, so I'm not staying up much longer tonight. I work day shifts the next two days and plus my husband's birthday is comming up on Wednesday (November 22).

Hello Everybody & Happy Sunday!!!

Hello, Everybody,

Today at Work was pretty busy. We had about 14 tour buses today and It was also customer appreciation day at our store. We were open from 8am-11pm today, but I was only scheduled 12pm-9pm tonight so It wasn't really that bad. No one got sick or had to go to the hospital, so I was pretty happy.

I am even happier, because I am off tomorrow, so when I do my blog tomorrow, I hope it will be more exiting.

Today, I finally went to work, but we got slammed with buses from Canada. I live and work in Erie, Pa., and a lot of tour buses from Canada and New York come to our state because we have no sales tax on clothing and nessesites like food. Luckily, I only worked 7am-3pm today so it wasn't too bad. After that, we went to church, one of these casual services, and it's pretty cool because I can wear jeans. Then finally, I went home, wished my mom a happy birthday, and I'm just relaxing right now.

I am feeling better, today, but I called off again because my husband's umbrella stent (placed in his stomach area to catch blood clots) was bothering him. I was scheduled to work at 2pm, but I went up to work early to pick up my paycheck. I had gotten my check cashed and then we went to eat at Eat-N-Park when his stomach area was bothering him. We ate and then his stomach was still bothering him, so our waitress called us a cab to the hospital. Right now, the pain has subsided, and my paycheck for next week is gonna look sick, but my husband comes first.

Today was also a sad day, because we had to get rid of our dog, Little Bear. Well, I'll be going to bed soon because I have to be at work at 7am.

One of the photos is the original Arby's neon sign, one of my favorite old signs, and the other one is a stop sign painted black. Our former landlord, the owner of this trailer park, was too cheap to replace it, so she did this.

I was scheduled to work 7am to 4pm today, but called off of work today because i was pretty sick today. Other than that, today was uneventful.
